We had a perfect day for chasing wildflowers. No wind, overcast and just a few sprinkles. Here are two of the flowers that I found. I am so happy to see the flowers starting up again after the return of a week of cold weather that we had about a month ago.

Thanks waussie and Dan. The spiderwort is one of my favorite flowers. There is just so much to like about them. The arching leaves, the beautiful blue color and the bright yellow stamens. Then throw in the little hairy strands in the center just for more interest. Even the buds and their stems are interesting. Here is a picture that shows them.

Ooooo.. these are nice. I don't know which I like better. They're all very crisp, fresh, and nicely composed images of beautiful flowers.
