Hi all,

Caught these guys nesting in a tree...

Pelicans of some species probably Australian- Your location would have really helped.

Australian pelicans I always assumed they nested on the ground but,
"Breeding: Pelicans are sociable animals, often nesting in colonies of up to several thousand birds. The normally pink bill, pouch and facial skin become red during courting. Nests built mainly by the females, vary from mere scrapes to rather elaborate constructions of sticks, grass and debris. Some pelicans nest in trees, other pelicans nest in small hollows on the ground. The normal clutch is two to three pale lime eggs, usually in the warmer months; incubation takes 30 to 40 days."
