no way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think if you search the wedding forum you'll find several threads about what we wear! :)

Most will agree to look nice, nice pants, ironed shirt, comfortable shoes.

welcome to the forum@! I look forward to some pics!

Usually the photog tries to blend with the guests...so that could leave you wearing anything from jeans to a tux. eg. Showing up at a cowboy wedding in a tux would be a bad idea, especially after the Jack is flowing.

Slacks, Black tshirt or button up shirt, and most of all, COMFORTABLE SHOES!!! black converse works =P that's what i saw a photographer wear yesterday, but yeh, shoes are the utmost importance since u'll be standing for like 4 - 10 hours, depending on your wedding.
Also, dress for the weather. U don't want to be soaked in sweat during the first hour of shoot, or freezing yourself if it's a cold day

but tux is a definate nono.. imo. it restricts your movements and too much hassle =P

:lol::lol::lol::lol:

Never wear a tux. As a women I wear dark brown slacks with an extra long tank top and a button up blouse. The extra long tank top is to cover up my butt crack for when I crouch down and the brown pants are for when I'm crawling on my belly (doesn't show dirt). Also, wear some comfortable flat shoes.

I wear colored polo shirts with my company name embroidered on the left chest area, and my web address on the sleeve, black pants and solid black tennis shoes.

My mentor wears all black and I guess I have followed suit. I wear all black, slacks and a black button down with my logo monogrammed on it. Black shoes from Shoes For Crews(non slip sole that is actually required for my day job). I have seen some guys wear similar attire and add a black sport coat to it for dressier occasions but never a Tux. I also have a couple of red monogrammed golf shirts that I use for everything outside of the wedding.

It is hot in Houston as well. You just have to get some clothing that is cool. The black is supposedly the primary color that will be the least noticeable in a wedding or at least that is what I am told. Colors supposedly catch peoples eyes and become a distraction.

Suits too hot and restrictive. I'm about to get embroided black long sleeved shirts, so i'll wear all black - though on hot days I may change to a light color short sleeve shirt for parts of the day.

Thanks for the question. I have tried to blend in. I've been thinking about the embroidered black shirt simply because I've seen others wear them. I don't want to end up in someones shots.
