May 13, 2007 17:25 | #1 I am not sure whether I like this one. It is awkward because of having to expose for the bright light sources coming from the towers while not wanting the dimly lit waterfront buildings to be lost in the shadows. A layer mask was used to cut out the lights at the tops of the towers, which had blown-out, and reveal an under-exposed shot underneath to recover detail in them. The towers were also masked so that separate curves could be used for them and the rest of the shot. Any suggestions on how I could have improved the shot are appreciated. Michael. Comments, bribes, criticism, bribes, irrelevant anecdotes, and bribes always welcome.
