CS3 - auto batch processing question

When I used CS2 to create my own action (to batch resize files so I can upload them to my website) I could use the same action over and over, no matter which folders I was opening from, or saving them to. Now, with CS3, it only opens and saves to the folders I originally did w/the action. It's driving me nuts, because now I have to delete the old action, open up a new image, record the action, then go to automate>batch w/each new folder. Is there something I'm missing? Please help!! Help, thanks!!

Check boxes in the batch dialog - overwrite open/save steps - or something like that. If that doesn't help report back i'll think some more.
