I was curious about the comment in the product description about being able to shoot tethered to the comp. What will it do tethered, is it an instant preview of the shot? I am just curious b4 i spend money. Also does anyone know of a program that does do and instant preview of the shot on the comp if that isnt what C1Pro doest.

As long as you don't own a 1DMk3, there is no such thing as an instant preview on a DSLR.
The tethered shooting allows you to capture the image, and write it straight to the HDD, you also get it on the computer screen right after you shot it (okay, after a short while to allow transfer time).
This can also be done with the Canon software that was likely included with your camera:
Eos Viewer Utility and Eos Capture. Don't know what they are called on PC.

I have a Rebel XT. Instant preview as in I can always check it on the back of the camara after I take it, but I do a lot of On site jobs that have multiple customers and I would like to take a laptop and have them be able to accept the image just taken or see if we need to retake it.

C1pro displays the image after you've taken it, so does Eos Capture with EVU...
