The noise from there wingbeat is such a deep sound - im pleased with the inflight as he was at the right angle just a bit blown though.after he landed he walked right past me lol

Lovely flight shot..........i've seen these a couple of times but thought they couldn't fly ( bit like chickens )

PS, you've got me thinking about getting a 5D now...........

it is a great camera but you need to be a great photographer too you know ;)

the IQ from it is as good as anyone could wish for and the AF is about the same as a 30d /400d so not to bad at all but i think the mk2 would have got me more keeper's overall had i used that .
another good thing is you can crop the image to 1.3 and have the same IQ as the mk2 But if you can fill the frame on the 5d you gain IQ by what i think is a high margin.
PS im still getting a mk3

OUCH !!!!!!!:( ...that hurts.

I'll let you off for two reasons....... 1, you do appear to be able to get out and spend time taking pictures much more than i can ( by a minimum factor of 10 to 1 ) :(

2, you do take some great pic's :p ;)

being self employed i do manage to get the time off more or less when i want ,and that give's me more chance of getting a few good shot's but also meen's i get a lot of dud shot's too lol

Very nice images with the flight shot getting my attention. I don't recall seeing this species of duck in a flight shot before and this one looks great.
