I was luck enough to hop over the pond and spend some time in Virginia last week. I shot this bird in Chincoteague on the eastern seaboard:

Nice shot Joe and the exposure is excellent with great preservation of detail in the whites.

Thanks folks. I was in close. I think I was shooting at about 300-350mm to keep the wing tips in shot and then I cropped a tiny bit from the final shot.
