Nice shots Wayne. They are pretty laid back birds.

The second one works for me where his profile runs parrallel to the two branches.Very nice Wayne!

I now have at least 1 adult male, 2 females and a 1st year male coming to the feeders in my yard every day. I have some shots of the male but nothing as good as last year...yet. The female has been much more cooperative:D

Nice series of shots of a bird (male) that I'm still trying to get a crack at. A female was at my feeder a couple of weeks ago but I've not seen her since. I saw one male, once, in the yard about 10 years ago and nothing since. :(

Gary, you seem to have hit the jackpot! ;)

Those are magnificent, especially #2!

Which lens?

From now on, it should be a requirement that people post what lens they used for every picture...

Indeed, that would help.
For example, practically all posts in the Naturescapes Bird Forum are accompanied by not just gear data but also the main Exif parameters.

Nice shots Wayne! I have a dozen or so here and they have become almost tame. It's real cool being able to get within a foot or two of these birds.
