Ducks....C&C please

Nice work on both, I do favor the colored picture.

In the first shot the placement of the duck within the frame and the wing position is good. The black rock (or whatever it is) behind the duck could be cloned out as it is place in a very conspicuous and distracting place. I like the bit of habitat showing at left.

As for number 2, I have rarely seen a successful black and white bird shot...color is simply a must for such colorful creatures. This one also has some odd blotching along the left edge.

Nice captures, with the coloured version being my preference.

One needs fast reflexes and a fast camera/lens for those kinda shots.
