I've attempted to go to the plug in folder in CS2, highlight and copy, for instance, NoiseNinja, then go to the plug in folder of CS3 and paste it in.
Same for pixel genius sharpener.
Neither worked. What am I doing wrong?

If you did then it is likely that you will have to do the same for CS3. I tried your solution when I upgraded and it didn't work on all of them but once I ran the install routines all was fine. When I first tried the straight copy function I got some DLL errors on the startup of CS3. After install none so I am assuming that the install routine places the appropriate dll files in the right places. My life is like one big RAW file....way too much post processing needed.
