Nice series. I think it shows that you get to know the band better, so you can anticipate on what's going to happen...
Nice drummer shots as well.
Only thing I have problems with, is the colors of the last one. Shot Raw and used ACR or LR? DPP would handle the blues better I think.

thanks. and yep, i used lr. i'll have to do a side by side with dpp. my problem with dpp is that library is hard to navigate.

nice shot of JB in #3 and #5. Love the expression on Schools face too.

Is WSP camera friendly? I plan on shooting String Cheese Incident this summer. Been seeing them for many years but never brought my camera and they allow all still cameras at their shows.

thanks. jb seemed to be the best turn out of images for that night. i have a ton of panic on my website.

that are not camera friendly. all shows posted were credentialed.

sci might be camera friendly. last time i tried to take my camera i didn't have a problem but that was 8 years ago. that mule/sci tour was fun.

These are different and some are better that last time... The depth in the stage shot #2, is real special...1, 3, 4, and 5 are also very good...

SCI is camera friendly. What lens would you suggest on a 30D for outdoor night concert pictures. I am planning to use my 70-200 2.8 during the day at Hornings Hideout and Red Rocks but don't think they will suffice when the sun goes down. Since shows are GA, I will have the ability to move around.

I did check out your site. Some really nice work you have done.

i've never been to hornings hideout; is that where they have the nw string summit in OR? i've been to red rocks many times and that 70-200 should be great there. 2.8 will be plenty big with their lights. if you can take a monopod you will have a great setup. i would start right where the skyline comes into view, and work my way down.
