That's a pretty scruffy looking Hairy Alex. Seen this before on birds in hot climates. Is it having a bad hair day?

The Pintail is beautiful.

The Hairy looks a little... well hairy! But the Pintail is gorgeous!!

I hasten to add that all three are excellent captures. Clean, crisp, bright. Very well done.

Wonderful angle and exposure on the Pintail...great image. As for the Hairy...good details and exposure but that has to be the sorriest looking Hairy I have ever seen;)
