I went out after work with my 70-200 2.8 just to mess round with different exposures and saw this couple sitting on the bench waiting for thebus so i got int he grass and tried to snap a few pics with them not noticing, and well its hard to hide the 70-200 2.8 lol but every time they looked i aimed the camera in another direction.. it was kind of sweet I believe the man was her husband and he was waiting with her for the bus.. she got on the bus, I assume to go to work and he limped home with his cane... that even melted my icey heart..

haha they might have kissed but i was too busy trying to hide the big white beast ( my lens ) that i didnt catch it.. oh well I know these pictures arent super crisp or probably that great, but the content of them just kind of made me stop and think a bit about what is most important in life... is it really the amount of crap we collect day in and day out... or is it something as simple sitting with a loved one at a bus stop.

I actually like the last one best. The blur of motion makes for an interesting picture - along with the ability to make the shot a "story" which is what I like my "street" work to do. The fact that he has a cane and she is getting on the bus - is intriguing - all in all, I think, a great capture. The others don't really "grab" me - altho all go toward making the whole scene. Lots of places to get good snaps like this in Orlando.

I was going through the images last night and the last one was the one that grabbed me.. but i thought the others might tell a little story, even though they arent too interesting.. i wanted to zoom in closer but i was too far away with my 200 and trying not to look obvious, lol everytime someone looked over i aimed my camera another direction prentending i was shooting a sign or something.

Hmm since you are also in the Orlando area.. do you know of any cool run down areas that arent too dangerous to be good back drops to shoot models? i hate the same typical boring back drops everyone uses.. i like run down ghetto type stuff just to add interest to the subject :)

have you ever gone on the west orange trail? somewhere in the middle there there is this old building that I've always wanted to take some pics in. i think it has some red sides to it. might be worth a look at? and you could always get some exercise on that trail as well :-) I was trainging for the disney inline half marathon on there.
