Sure I will, with the impression of what an Australian officer is. Have a pleasant day!

LMFAO. So you're the saviour of all unfortunates and the benchmark for how we all should act and comment? How ridiculous. So, let me get this straight; because of my job and heritage, I should act according to your set of ideals, morals and ethics? I should reserve my comments and opinions to that which you agree with and shun all those that you do not? Does this mean that you reflect what all Americans think or are you just being biggoted and ultruistic again?

You should know that Australians are free to express their own ideas, question things, have their own personalities and choose their own direction. This allows me to think for myself and make crucial decisions; decisions which, due to my job, can impact more people than just me. I see you don't possess the same ability or offer the same consideration to people outside your own 'sphere'. More is the pitty.

I obviously touched some nerve there. I apologize. Sorry to OP and everyone for the exchange. This is my last post here on this thread.

No need to apologise at all. I'm not offended in the least. I like a healthy debate.

I'm not surprised about your condescending attitude towards the more unfortunate sectors of society after reading this: https://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=261092

Lol, no, it helped me form an opinion of those who try to censor others in the name of political correctness. :) I've traveled around the world, and no poor are more fortunate than the American poor.

Ya, I was talking about you actually. If I were him I wouldnt have asked. Public place means I can take whatever pics I want. Besides, she's homeless so it's not as if she can afford to sue me! lol

I laughed too, I knew you were talking about him and the "mission." As someone warned the OP, look out for the PC police and their attempt to censor others.

G'day Aussie bro. Welcome to the PC censor police of America. Self righteous indignation over nothing, but always on the look out for something that they can claim offends them. Beware, they are always offended by something, and continually looking for the next miniscule incident to be their next cause. Gives most people PC headaches.

LOL Thanks mate. I harbour no ill will. It's just two different ways of thinking I guess. Most of the Americans I work with understand how most Aussies think. I've spent the last couple of years 'informing' them ;). And now that we're firmly set alongside the USA as a staunch ally in the war in Iraq, Afghanistan and where ever is next, I think they are taking us a little more seriously. But, again, that's only my experience. People are free to tell me how wrong I am but I'm also free to fire back at 1000 miles an hour! :)

Sheesh, I ask someone to be more open-minded, try to understand the homeless person's story instead of ridiculing her, and I get accused of being the PC police? That seems to be a convenient argument for people like you when people comment on your condescending remarks.

And who's talking about censorship here? Regarding censorship take a good look at yourself and your remarks on the issue of Cody Weber. You were the one calling for censorship there.

I'm outta here.

Pretty interesting photos. It seems to paint a story in my mind, most likely not a real one, but I think anyone can imagine and speculate anything they want when they look at a photo. I am not sure if you mentioned what lens you used?

I used my 70-200 2.8L IS USM and i know i didnt do it justice at all but this was my first run with it outiside with no strobes messin round.. trying not to get caught snappin pics of other people :)

After looking at these shots it made me realize that the lady pictured used to be a little girl, probably much like the one she is sitting with at the table. The woman is/was someone's little girl, and it just broke my heart b/c I think its so easy to forget or maybe we just don't remember that she used to be a sweet little one and was probably the apple of someone's eye a long time ago. I hope the little girl pictured has an easier road ahead of her.
