Warblers in Maine

These little guys are moving through Maine to their Summer grounds.
This location in Portland, the Evergreen Cemetery is a hot spot. Here are a few from Monday AM. Hand held, 30D, 100-400, iso320, AF, spot meter, ME - most f6.3 - Starting to get a little free so I can be around more. - C/C always welcomed - Bob Malbon

My choices: 1st; 3rd and last one, I guess because of the pose and catch-light in the eyes. You got some incredible captures here! I'd love to see some of these birds!

Your Canada Warbler is actually a Common Yellowthroat. Nice shots!

Youv`e got some great shots here, but I would go with ptten on the catchlight thing.

Bob those are great shots. You've encouraged me a lot. My son and I are headed up your way for the Memorial Day Birding Festival at Cobscook Bay. We're after Puffins and I was getting concerned that the Spring migration would be there in time for other birds.

HP, Yes, I do use the BushHawk with the 100-400 on both IS settings - It is super - adds 2 stops!

Well done Bob! You've got some great shots of six warblers that I don't have even one shot of. I really like the Yellow throat for the angle and catchlight in the eye but I'd be thrilled to have any in my collection.
