O.K. Please do not judge the quality of the picture ( I know its a photography web site). It was taken outside my 27 story window, in low light, through glass, zoomed in, etc, etc.

It was such a pretty and friendly little bird. When he noticed we were looking at him he kept coming closer and closer to the window.

Any help on the ID would be great.

Scarlet Tanager - great photo. My birds usually come out as barely recognizable blobs.

What a cute, cute shot! Wish I could get one tht close! Wish I could SEE one, for that matter....:) And it is NOT poor quality, it's a nice shot!

Great catch. I've been trying to get a Scarlet Tanager for years. I'll bet what he was looking at was his reflection.
