I know mymemory.co.uk is properly the best for value but I need a site that will accept paypal or a cheque. I would prefer it to be in the UK as I don't fancy sending from say America.

Guess they only take cards for payment but you should look at the deals on 4gb cards at www.7dayshop.com (external link). £17-99 now that IS a bargain!! I have a couple in my 1D mkII with no buffer issues at 8.5 frames a second.

Thanks for the help. I'll look into those on camerabuster to see if any would accept paypal or cheque. Just don't like giving card details over the net. And £17.99 for a 4GB card is fantastic.
If anoyone knows any other sites/shops then please say.

How long are you holding the shutter down for? How many shots can you get untill it stops??

Cheers

mymemory.co.uk actually have an ebay shop so you might be able to find a listing by them and use PayPal that way, I had a quick look and they dont have any CF cards listed at the minute.
If your worried about giving card details online then I would recommend getting a credit card that gives online fraud guarantees, I have one for this very reason and only ever use it online because I dont want to give my bank card details for the same reason as yourself.

Thanks for that Mork. Do you know the mymemory.co.uk's ebay name? Is it the same? To be honest it's my sister's credit card as I don't have one that I will be using and she is worried about internet fraud so paypal only or the cheque from myself.

How do you use Paypal if you do not give any card details online? There is nothing to worry about though, so long as you are entering details into a secure site (the padlock symbol on you browser) then it is safer than giving out your details over the phone or handing a card to a sales assistant or waiter.

Anywhere that has a physical shop should accept a cheque, for the online-only stores you would need to call them to ask. Bristol Cameras are relatively high on the camerpricebuster list and they are a real store so should be able to help if you call them. I bought my camera from them so am happy to recommend them. Though their costs seems to be double what you pay one of the Channel Island stores like 7dayshop or MX2, but I think that will be unavoidable unfortunately.

Michael.

Comments, bribes, criticism, bribes, irrelevant anecdotes, and bribes always welcome.
EXIF is available inside all my photos, though bribes are still recommended anyway.

Their ebay name is mymemory-uk and I just looked again and they had a 2gb Sandisk extreme III card on auction, but if you keep checking they might list one on a buy it now and they are usually the same cost as their web site, but you never know you might get a bargain.

Heres a link to the auction
