Sorry, that doesn't make sense.
You're saying at the maximum sharpness setting in DPP you are not getting a sharp image in PS???
(I assume you mean that: 100 on the RGB tab? I use the Raw tab myself)
You *are* comparing at 100%?

I'm lost then too...

only other thoughts, if you've tried all above:
Try it in zoombrowser Raw Image task with sharpening cranked up, see what happens.
Reinstall DPP (get latest version).

I just found that I could not get any sharpness out of any pictures when I used PS... even if I set the number to 100.

On a 800 X 600 web file, USM of 100 0.8 is about right.
You should easily see a big difference with 150 3.0 Try it.

I just tried Zoombrowser, but once again, nothing. When I actually opened the Raw file, before I could edit it, I had to agree to adjusting the picture back it's original state before continuing? Why? I have no idea, I never touched or saved over the picture before.

I have version 2.1.1.4 of DPP.

Here is what i'm using in PS to edit. Even at 100, nothing changes.

Try Filter > Sharpness / Unsharp Mask.

Thanks. That worked actually :)

BUT.. after adjusting the saturation and sharpness to my likings, changing the mode to 8 bit and saving as jpeg in highest quality, my picture does not look like PS. At least I'm able to adjust the picture in PS now, but the program still remains.

It's gotta be something with my colour spaces in windows, but I feel as if I've exhausted all my options.

Aha, that's what you mean...
That is ACR (Adobe Camera Raw). Actually, the setting does work, but view at 100%. It's more subtle then the sharpening in DPP. This can be seen as 'capture sharpening' (To overcome the cameras AA filter.

You'll still need to apply 'output sharpening' (based on size and medium of output: Web different then print, 4x6 different then 8x12)

Have a read in the link form my sig.
It's caused because PS is color managed, most other windows viewers aren't.
