excellent shot stephen im with you on the b/g makes the image with the colours of the bird. as for the pirch makes no differance .(dont forget the tubes )

Mitch I don't recall the Goldfinchs taking a bath but the Robins and cardinals really like getting wet. Sometimes we have to top up the water leve after the robin has bathed.

In about fine minutes the other day I saw a grackle, starling, two goldfinches, a purple finch, robin and a pair of cardinals all take their turns getting a drink.
