Long story short, I'm not into watermarking 40+ pictures with the same text in the same area. I read somewhere on here (and searched but no luck) that there was a program to batch watermark pictures, any suggestions? Thanks!

For some weird marketing reason this software was free:

I've used it a couple times and it gets the job done. I think it is available for $50 or so, but still worth it.

There's about a million threads about this. Write an action in photoshop, I think either russel brown or "the light's right studio" has a watermarking tutorial video.

I use FastStone to resize, sharpen and watermark images all in one batch.
