My Kingston 4GB 45X Elite Pro card has gone TU after about two whole uses. I plugged it into the computer via flash card reader and opened DPP up to start moving files. The "recognize new USB device" window pops up and I think...
wtf...
Then "cannot copy file blah blah corrupted blah blah"
First pics of the trip to the zoo with my son are one here...Any help? Thoughts?
Thanks in advance.

Oh, I see... reboot will not help you then. You could then give a try at some recovery software. See the following thread : https://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=281195

Well, the reboot created a filed named BOOTEX on the card.......Still no new pics past a certain point. Frickin' zoo, farmers market, my new floor project before during after pics.
Speaks volumes for the backup functionality of the Mark II

Give a try at some recovery software, you never know!

See if the demo of this one can get you started: http://www.datarescue.com/photorescue/ (external link)

Sharing is what this board is all about IMHO. It was a pleasure to help you out, no need to be hard on yourself ;-)a
