Found this guy/girl?? swimming around a Kansas pond. I've never seen a duck like it before. Any help with ID, comments and suggestions welcome!

Looks to be a Muscovy, aka Barbary Duck.

He was bigger than a mallard drake, more like small goose size. He sure was ugly which is one reason why I had to try to find out what he was.
