I like this shot except for the out-of focus branch across the tail. I did a version with the branch cloned out but didn't like it so decided to stay with reality.

THat would open up the dark bird a lot and make it real nice. Its too dark the way you have it now.Thanks for your thoughts but I disagree with your comments. This is a picture of a small bird in a bush on a cloudy day. It's what I saw. It was shot in RAW so lots more things could be changed but I preferred it the way I posted it. I guess it comes down to being a matter of taste.
