This is about as regal as a wet bird can pretend to be... It really has been miserable here today.

The first image is excellenet due to the pose and bird position in the frame. I love the backgrounds and the perch really fits this bird.

What super shots-that first one is outstanding! I think you should do a closeup of the face of the second one...he looks quite unhappy. Funny expression!

I can Empathize with you, I took the Towhee shot and several Eaglet shots (to be posted later this evening) in the swamp with rain.

Unhappy? Nah, just a new parent trying to cope with two noisy juvies. I believe I had the same expression once a few years ago...

The first one is great. He looks so harmless, who'd think that this bird can be such a pest keeping up the whole neighborhood with his middle-of-the-night antics?

Very nice pose in thre first image and nice details in this bird that I have nothing on. The crop is pretty comical...all kinds of captions would work with that one:D
