Excellent images here Sindri and very unlike the Redwing Black Birds we have and I agree they are similar to our Thrushes. Greatcolors in the birds and beautifully photographed.

Just beautiful Sindri! In some ways, the female is even more striking (color-wise) than the male and you've done her proud here. That close up is to die for! I always enjoy your shots!

Very nice. Not much more I can add, that hasn't already been said...even though they do have a striking resemblance to the American Robin (again, said before). How close were you to them/it?

I was very close (about 4-5m). :-)

The last one does it for me although all are wonderful! Sindri, do you ever take a bad shot? I wish you would post one so we would all know you are human.
Karen

He, he...well I wish I could answer that question with a big no. ;-)a My father is 83 years old (and actually moved from film to digital last year). His bird shots are amazing. We share the passion for bird photography and we usually travel together in search of certain species. I'm still trying to get shots as good as he takes all the time...and still without much luck. ;-)a

Thank you for your kind words. This is actually a different species from the Red-winged Blackbird. The Redwing male and female look identical so I at least can't tell them apart.

Best regards

Sindri

My error...I confused the two species. Thanks for clearing that up for me Sindri.
