I stopped for lunch today on the road,,, like that's a surprise , it was cold and crappy wet and I only lasted 10 minutes lol but hey I got this Red-winged male and am pretty happy to share it with you all ,,, C & C is welcome :)

Nice! The DOF is spot on and very nice detail on the bird as well - sometimes it is those crappy dull days that make for the best conditions to photograph certain subjects.

I love these birds and their calls. Always reminds me of fishing, since they always seem to be around water. Anything that makes me think of fishing is a good thing. Nice shots.

Great shots with very nice bokeh! Which lens did you use for those shots (if you don't mind me asking)? The bokeh tells me it was the 200L but I am no expert....

Very nice shots! I think the gray day may have been a blessing in disguise as shooting these guys in bright sun can really give problems with bright reflections off the beak. These are outstanding shots!
