Got A New Set Of Sticks

Mitch, I hadn't thought about setting out sticks and stumps. I have a 2 acres with lots of trees and lots of birds but the birds are often in a different area than I am or in an area that it is difficult to photograph. I am going to go out today and see about helping nature by setting out more feeding stations and adding sticks and stumps in areas I can photograph from my windows and deck. Thanks for the ideas.

Thanks Rock. The trick is to keep all the seed in a small area. You wouldn't want to put feeders up all through the 2 acres or they just won't come to the ones by the house. I have 4 feeders and they are all within 10 feet of each other and no more than 30 feet from the window. Also, I found out the hard way, plan it out good before setting up, maybe even use a tape measure so you know the exact distance, take into account where the sun is going to be coming from when your most likely to be shooting. Planning will save you a lot of re-positioning later.
