I was ordering a bunch of stuff through Amazon, including batteries. I discovered you can now get Sterlingteks through Amazon. Didn't put any thought into it, just added the batteries.
The batteries arrive, the only thing I was getting from this vendor. Supposed to be 1700mAh Sterlingteks. Instead they were someone elses 1000mAh batteries. Then I notice all the complaints from people about the company advertizing one thing and selling another.
I contact them to complain and they say no problem, if I want they will send the correct battery straight out and a return slip for the wrong one. Go ahead says I.
Next they say the 1700mAh won't be in stock for a few weeks (still listed as 24 hours on Amazon) so am I sure I don't want to keep the one I have. Just send me the correct f'king battery says I.
Oops, now it seems we aren't carrying those any longer and the manufacturer no longer makes them. We can offer you a 20% discount on the one you have. Give me a full refund now says I.
Of course other folks (including Sterlingtek) still sell the battery and it is still listed on Amazon waiting to trap other customers who may give up and except the crappy one they were sent.
So, SF Planet = bait and switch merchants, so avoid them.
They are an Amazon marketplace seller and have a website
.
