I am thinking of a sigma 120-300mm f/2.8 EX DG HSM to go with my 1Dmk2 but am worried about the DG bit.

Will this lens be alright on my 1D with the 1.3 crop factor? Anyone had experience with this combo?

cheers,
Iain.

The term "DG" denotes that the lens is designed for 35mm film cameras (or FF digital sensor) and that it is optimized for use with DSLR's.
Sigma use the term "DC" to denote their lenses that have reduced size image circles to match crop DSLR's.
