The S60 is, first of all, a still camera. I don't care about the movie mode, but the 28-100mm focal length sure got my attention. If the lens is good, I'll go for it. (The Ricoh Caplio GX - 28-85mm - sounds better on paper, but you can't buy Ricohs in the USA.)

I would rather have this camera than a the Canon S1 IS if it had a 640x video mode. My needs are 4-5mg, 640x video, CF memory, wide lens. I guess I will have to wait another year.
