Help me decide
I have found 21" and 22" factory reconditioned CRT's using sony trinitron and Mitsu diamond tubes for about (a little less) as the LCD's I have been considering. Sceptre x20wc is an MVA, ViewEra v210d-b is MVA, or various Dells with spva/sips/pva panels....

What would you get? Why?
I have read many places to avoid TN panels. But is there a reason to choose s-IPS over MVA or PVA? I am leaning to LCD for the space factor, and hopes of adding a second monitor soon.

All my parts arrived so I can build my new machine this weekend. I need to order a monitor TODAY. So Postup!! I love opinions!!!!
THANKS
Marc

Darn Marc ... life is too short! Go to a dealer where there are several different brands and types (Bet he/she cannot tell you which has what matrix!), look at them all. They may even let you display your own pictures from a flash drive.
I read the article Rene referred to. Lots of information there for sure. I personally feel that these parameters are like comparing CPUs ... 3300 vs 3500. I'm hard pressed to tell the difference in speed when in use.
You have to be pleased in what you see first! All those numbers can come later but only if you are not happy. I have three different LCDs and I will take them over CRTs any day!

Just my opinion. Enjoy your quest Marc.

Ron
