ligtroom import only raw files,how can i?

hi
i'm starting to use lightroom

can i setup to import only raw files , and not all the jpg or till files?

can i do and how?

canon 5d markII,24L & 24ts , 35L ,17-40L,24-70L,70-200 2.8ISL,50 1.4,85 1.4 , canon eos 3 ,eos 5 ,t90 , ae program and some very sweet fd lenses

Do you have all these files in the same folder? If you do then you really should re-organise your image files! :-)

I just use the 'import' function and point it to the folder containing my RAW files and select the 'choose selected' option.

If they are all in the same folder together, just select that folder. When it lists all the files in the folder, turn on 'details' listing so that you see the filename, date, file type, etc. Click on the file type label for that colum, and it will sort all the files by type. Select all the raw files, then import them.
