I got my new Canon 300 2.8 yesterday. This thing is very nice. I couldnt wait to use it and went to a local park. Ive never shot birds. It was very relaxing, fun and super hard. How do you guys get such great shots? Most of my shots where out of focus, but I still liked some and posted a few for your viewing. There was an overcast out here today so I blame it on the weather.

I've heard the 300 2.8 will take amazingly to the 1.4x TC and even tolerably to the 2x TC, both of which you'll be running off to buy in short time if you keep taking bird photos, I'm sure.
