I have been watching this nest for weeks and finally caught a couply of chicks.
Late evening on a cloudy day so light was poor, I'll try again on a brighter day.

Hey Martin, cloudy days are better for white birds. :)

These are very nice. I've never seen a swan chick before.

Hi Martin I think you did very well to get so close to the mother and her chicks at this time well done!
I noticed there is a little back focus in the second shot but I can see you did well considering the light doesn't exactly look great..

The nest is only 10 feet from the bank near a tourist spot so I guess she's used to visitors. Thanks for pointing out the back focus, I missed that.
