interesting to see that its beeing pulled by 2 emd sd70ACe's lol. I've wondered what the hybrid was all about, thanks for that link that explains the specs and what not.

All GE locomotives are built in Erie PA while the parts that take I-94 are EMD and go between the La Grange IL plant and the one in London Ontario for final assembly.

I know this is an old post but I just came across it and had to reply. I work in Erie PA but live in a small town outside the city. I actually drive by the plant every day. The amount of land they have for the plant itself always amazes me. You really can't see too much of it though just driving by because of all the trees. What does really interest me though is their test track. The road I take home actually runs paralelle to the test track. Funny how its one of those things I take for granted. I've never actually stopped to watch one of the locomotives go by. there is actually a spot on the other side of the test track accessible from another road that has picnic tables and benches set up because it is a very popular place to watch the trains. The end of the test track can be seen right from the road so very often you will see them stopped there or even going very slow as they are stopping or starting back up to head back to the plant.
