Very tough to get shots of tanagers as they are usually about 50' off the ground in dense leafy trees. Finally was able to get some decent shots of one semi-close to the ground. One of the most gorgeous and brilliant birds IMO. I saw about 7 of these today, 4 of which were males. The females are yellow (as is the male when not in breeding plumage). I even saw a female setting up a nest.
