I've used Photoshop CS3. The black background was not in my plan for this photo. As I was playing with the exposure adjustment, rembering what Chris Orwig has mentioned in his PSCS3 techniques, I took the Offset adjustment to the extreme on both side, and voila...I got the black background without going through Layers/Masks. I guess you can say "I am lucky!" Thanks for explaning that its great to learn new things..
