Looks great! I love the dark background, and the goose is tack sharp!!!

Thanks Mike and Bill! Actually, the background was green water from the pond and I didn't like it much! I've finished reading Understanding Exposure by Bryan Peterson! Just to test what I've read! Great Book!

Love the shot, love the catchlight, love the crop and the background really sets off this tack sharp photo perfectly. Nice work.

I've used Photoshop CS3. The black background was not in my plan for this photo. As I was playing with the exposure adjustment, rembering what Chris Orwig has mentioned in his PSCS3 techniques, I took the Offset adjustment to the extreme on both side, and voila...I got the black background without going through Layers/Masks. I guess you can say "I am lucky!"
