Ken, love this shot and the perspective the 8MM Fisheye gives. And, as I have learned with the 15MM Fisheye you can crop to the middle of the shot to get a cool 8x4 "panorama" view :-)

Jim -- I keep the Leica D-Lux 7 in the Glove Box just in case!

It was great to see Ken, Jon & Jim and Elaine again. I miss you guys. We need to meet more often as it's always so fun and I always have to leave too soon.

Here is an exercise in point of view with lenses. Specifically, the 8mm fisheye vs. the 24-70. Which is more interesting a shot? This is why photography is so much fun.

Thanks for that link. I'll read it all later, but I didn't get to stop long to read everything there.

Awesome photos, everyone. Will there be another meet up before it gets too chilly?

We're looking at shooting the Christmas lights at the Mormon Temple over in Kensington and Brookside Gardens on Dec. 3. Sunset's around 4:45, IIRC and the moon will be just past First Quarter. Watch This Space. Around 40 min. from Sterling, depending on where in Sterling (I was just over there this afternoon).
