We're having the carpet cleaned tomorrow and might go to DC to get pictures if anyone is interested in meeting up!

If you're gonna be in DC tomorrow, stop by the Metro, you might see a few pantless riders. :)

Bummer since they were one of the bigger photography stores in the area.

Has anyone stopped by to see what their close-out sales are looking like? I've been getting the itch to upgrade bodies to a 60D or 7D, might have to swing by to see what their "special clearance sales" are.

I saw a post or two in the Maryland thread and it didn't sound impressive. Something like 10% off which doesn't compare well to buying online once sales tax is considered.

I thought they were alright deals. It's like an extended holiday shopping. $140 for a TT Retro 20 is a good deal in my books. :)

Air & Space Museum's announced that the Shuttle Discovery will be arriving at Dulles (with at least a fly-by) on April 17; they'll be bringing it into U-H on the 19th. Both dates weather permitting. That's a Tuesday and Thursday.

If they confirm the dates, hoping to be there for both.

Yeah. I'm trying to figure out how to manage that too. I think that they're pretty set on those dates, but if it rains, they might push it back. Wonder when they'll fly Enterprise out? 19th as well? I figure they'll spend the 18th lifting Discovery off and Enterprise on, thus setting up the 19th for the World's Biggest Biplane to head out to NYC to deliver the Enterprise. Might take longer than that to on-load, but . . .

Here is the link. I'm planning on going. I am a member of the A&S Society so I was planning to be at all the festivities with my boys. Hope to see you all there. I'm bringing my 100-400 and my new 70-200. :)

Jon, I will e-mail the powers and see what the schedule is. Maybe I'll make a trip to the A&S tomorrow because my boys have the day off.
