I remember seeing Fairfax County cops rushing to the Home Depot shooting the night that happened. Oh and the earthquake last August, which actually did serious damage to the Washington National Cathedral. I must say I was impressed when our building in McLean started swaying that otherwise sunny afternoon. Graham

We were couple of blocks from the capitol when paanes started hitting. And I sit at a traffic light next to the gas station (Shell in Kensington on Conn. Ave) where one of the sniper victims was hit on a twice-a-day basis. Then there was being in DC when the quake hit. I thought it was yet another Metro dysfunction. Sill not convinced it wasn't! Jon
