Jim, you aspire me and other people on here to take more photographs so they can reach the skill you have. I just love the symmetry of all the wreathes on the headstones.

Anyway, i dont know if you have found the thread for a new club DC shooters. It sounds very interesting, and probaby a great way to learn more about studio work and other types of photography. Here is the link...

It's a bit early, but Merry Christmas. Going to be on the road for Albuquerque for Christmas Eve, figured I'd give my salutations now.

That's just too adorable!

Merry Christmas, right back, a little late, but Santa was kind to you.

I may just pm each of you, but I was invited, and thus, I was allowed to mention this to all of you, to an event on Jan. 8, next Thursday at The Tavern at Great Falls 6:30-10:30 - a reception for the charity I've been helping with. The photographer who takes portraits of the foster kids is doing an exhibition, all tips at the bar go to the organization. The photographer, Joan Brady, uses Canon equipment for her work, and is willing to share her skills with us. If you are interested, give me a PM. I will be there late and I will bring my 5D with 24-70 and flash and that's it. So, if you think you can make it, just google the place and see if you can come.

Suzy thanks for the invite.. Unfortunately, im busy that day so i wont beable to come. Im always up to learn new things.. I did however found a camera club here in manassas that looks like would be a great place to learn something new, and beable to show off some of my work.. There meetings are the first thursday of the month and could be found at http://www.mwcc-photo.org/ (external link). Unfortunately, I dont get off of work till late so it will be hard to show up at meetings.

Hello everyone,

I'm a Loudoun Photo Club member. Anyone else here from Loudoun County, or belong to the area photo clubs?

At any rate, I've just tagged this thread so I hope to see some of you at some field trips perhaps - or just enjoy your photos!

Here is one I took over the wkd:

I'm in Leesburg, so I'm another LoCo resident. I'm "Photo 1" for the Leesburg Volunteer Fire Company, so lots of my pictures are taken responding to calls with the fire company.

But as I have time, I like to get out and do some shooting just of whatever grabs me.
