Hey had a great time and it was very cool to get together with some fellow POTN members. Neither Tim or I have ever did anything like that with photographers....just car peeps. I wish we could've stayed longer but due to the flight to San Antonio we had couldnt . He should be in the air as we spoke. I dropped him off and was sad I couldnt go any further then the main building ...didnt use to be that way. He should be in San Antonio by 9:30 or so.

Anyway he wont be able to post up his pics till Tuesday since he gets back late Monday. I will post some of mine in a few...if there are any that came out

Rodell and others... I can pretty much tell you all the names of the flowers at Meadowlark as I used to be a gardener for elderly couple in PA for 10 yrs. I also had my own gardens in PA from 1987 - 2001 . That's a daylily and the white flower that Rhilton has is Calla Lily

ha-ha. Don't remember what we were shooting. But it was definitely the most bountiful day in my life according to the quality shots taken. Mine are still in the processing as I write this, and as soon as I am finished I'll post some up.

Great POTN meet -- we had a wonderful time and the Gardens were simply beautiful Thanks Michelle & Tim for setting this one up

I really enjoyed meeting such fine photographers and talking shop. I tried out the 70-200MM f/2.8 IS and in a word awesome! I tried out the 5D and all I can say is that my wife is going to kill me when I order this sweet thing More new gear will have to wait a while however...I hit the order button last night on the 70-200MM f/4 IS Anyone want a sweet deal on the 70-200MM f/4 non IS???

Very cool bee. I was so darn hot there at the gardens and kind of took me away from wanting to take pics somewhat. That along with worry about Tim's interview and being away...I worry too much :confused:

Next time maybe we can meet up at the end of the day. The lighting is very nice then and that's the usual time Tim and I try to go. For those that need directions around the "non detoured" mess let me know for the next time.
