No not yet. As for powering it, you can use an inverter as suggested above. If you don't want to go that route, then a smaller laptop 2.5" disk that takes less power could be powered by batteries and would be portable. Since wherever I go, I would have access to a power source or at least a car at the end of a day or two, I figured this would make a good system for me. If you are going on week long hikes in Denali National Park and don't have access to power, then you are SOOL.

It sure seems simpler for me to use my X drive. It works for a long time on a battery charge.
