I'm back after about a week off of shooting. Been a little sick and weather was bad for a while

Nice shots here Allen. Great quality for such a long shoot. Are those baby geese the same ones you shot last week by any chance? They sure grow up fast. :)

I went so late that light was too low for Bif shutter speeds except in sky. In the wetlands light is fairly poor. When we doing the swallow shooting contest?

Great series with the young Wood Duck being my favorite. Don't you just love proving the nay-sayers wrong!! (for me it's the 100-400 that gets bad-mouthed):lol:

Those are cracking sharp! Lovely detail. I really like the NRW Swallow shot. Amazing action of the baby BBs and the goslings and ducklings are too sweet.

Man I am glad this got reposted as I missed it completely.....great series and the 2x converter appear to work quite well in the esxamples provided. Very clear...I love the baby wood duck...too much:D
