Orange-Wing Amazon

My 17 yr old daughter has high-functioning autism and I gave her a camera (Canon XT) to see if she would like taking pictures. I am impressed! She took these photos of her bird, Nani. I asked about why she did the lighting the way she did, and she said the flash would scare the bird, so she used the available light from the window! I really like the way she set it up! I am going to encourage her to keep on shooting!! She looks at things different than most, and I think she will be taking some (more) great photos!

Looks just like my orange wing and she did a terrific job! Is your bird as noisy as mine????

Is your bird as noisy as mine?
Actually only in the morning and the evening. I once read that parrots think if they do not scream at those times the sun will not come up or go down!! I really think they believe it!!
