The small birds are outstanding... ultra sharp
the Red Kites are sharp but them being in shadow does not help bring out any detail

great stuff... the Dunnock and Robin are the standouts for me

The Kites were reared at Harewood House and released to the wild some years back.

They are all tagged and chipped so the team can keep an eye on them..:)

The Tags on the birds represent area on the left wing, and year it was born on the right wing,
the bird in the picture was reared in Yorkshire - and born in 2004

Absolutely love the Red Kites, I was fortunate to see a pair whilst visiting my folks in Wales at the begining of May, Up through the Ellan Valley.
I was hoping to go by the feeding centre in Rhyader, mid Wales but the trip was so short with so much to do.
I will definitely do it next time though.
