I just returned 2 lenses to rentglass.com but I've also used rentcameragear.com

both are easy and hassle free. They have a simple system. You order online, they send you the items you paid for, they send you pre-paid packaging and send the stuff back when it's done. The rental week starts from when you receive it, not when they post.

I will say that rentglass has much better packaging. they place the lens inside a moulded hard foam container so it would be pretty hard to damage it at all.

I currently have the 70-200 F4 IS and 1.4x TC from rentglass.com and the lens is in great shape, well packed, and fast shipping. Very happy with them.

Canon body and lens rentals

Hi to all!

I am starting a new rental service of primarily Canon lenses and camera bodies. I will be adding to the inventory all the time so if you are looking to try out any gear or for a special trip or event please check my site out. If you don't see what you are looking for inquirer about it, on a 3 week or longer rental I likely will be willing to obtain the item for you.

Why rent from me?
I am a photographer myself and strive to offer the hobbyist photographer the opportunity to use equipment without making a permanent investment for a short term period. I also include many additional accessories with my gear to make it fully functional as if you owned it yourself. In most cases extra batteries memory cards and, for most lenses, polarizing filters are included. I also offer knowledgeable technical assistance via phone for personal service.

Thanks for looking!

What's with the deposit? And can you rent only a week? Or is that per week and then late days is the day after charges?

I'm pretty sure you can buy whatever he has to offer. If I read the site correctly he mentioned the glass could be purchased.

So you have the option to convert to a purchase? I'm not really sure how this works from a business perspective if renters are buying your inventory.
