I woke up at 5 this morning just couldn't sleep so I drove the 5 minutes to Petrie Island and went for a walk for a couple of hours , here's a few shots from then ,,, hope you all enjoy C & C is welcome and appreciated

My favourites are the dove (perfectly shot) and the chickadee....as sharp as it gets.

Al it's Tyranus Tyranus himself AKA Eastern Kingbird ,,, soon we will be watching there nest ,,, provides some killer chances for inflights and such ;)

I really like the kingbird... beautiful pose, nice bokeh. I take it the shot was at fairly high ISO? It does look a tad noisy, but still very, very nice.

They're all quite nice!

Nice series Wayne with the Chickadee getting my vote...the insect in the mouth and sharpness of the image works for me. BTW..looks like the nesting tree over the water for the Kingbirds has taken a beating...wonder if they will nest there again!

well there was a pair of them perched there this morning several times so in light of that I would think yes there will be a nesting pair there again

Well done Wayne, I love the Kingbird and the Yellow Warbler the best, but they are all great shots.
